Bear is a hometown boy from eastern South Dakota, born and raised. Bear is a purebred Yellow Labrador Retriever. Bear is not only an exceptional retriever but is also a pointing lab. Bear has been professionally trained to hunt game birds and is a crowd favorite in the pheasant hunting field. Bear is as comfortable in hot pursuit of the wiley ringneck pheasant as he is lying in bed with you after a long days hunt. |

Emma is a hard charging alfa female. She is a purebred Chocolate Labrador Retriever out of Pierre, South Dakota. Emma has been professionally trained to hunt both waterfowl and upland birds. Emma has won Dave’s heart and is his personal favorite. Emma is also a pointing lab and when push comes to shove she is Dave’s right hand dog. |
| Meet Chief
Chief is Tessa’s brother, also out of Bear and Emma. He is a purebred Yellow Labrador Retriever who now resides in Saskatchewan, Canada with guide Wes Lundell. Chief has been professionally trained and is a powerful retrieving machine who loves hunting upland birds. Chief is the camp playboy and loves to be around people. |
| Meet Timmy
Timmy is a purebred German Deutsch Drahthaar. Timmy is out of the Pierre, South Dakota area as well. He was bred by Linda Franklin who is a highly recognized field trial judge and upland bird hunting outfitter herself. Timmy was Linda’s personal pick for matching up a high powered dog with a high powered outfitter. Timmy has an excellent disposition and is a pleasure to watch in the field. He is a serious bird hunting machine and has been everything Linda promised and more! |

Tessa is a purebred Chocolate Labrador Retriever. She was bred from Bear and Emma. Tessa has been professionally trained as have all of Dave’s dogs. Tessa has a great nose for pheasants and upland birds. She loves people and is also a powerful retriever.

Lucy is a cunning, seasoned English pointer with a huge heart. She never tires in the pheasant hunting field. Lucy is a purebred English Pointer from Utah. Lucy was personally picked by one of Dave's good friends John Francom. John was a pointer field trial judge for many years and received Lucy was hand picked for Dave by John. Lucy has been a pleasure to hunt over and has lived up to all expectations and more. |
